Our Story

Adoption has been on our hearts long before it became part of our reality.

We always imagined building our family after finishing school, establishing our careers, and settling into a home. But life had a different path in store for us. At 28, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and underwent extensive treatment - chemotherapy, radiation, and eventually a stem cell transplant. Though the treatment was successful and I’ve been cancer-free for nine years, it left lasting effects, including infertility.

In those quiet moments of grief and healing, we began to feel a deeper calling - one that had quietly surfaced in our conversations even before we were married: adoption.

As we explored that path, spoke with friends who had adopted, and prayed for clarity, we felt God’s gentle nudge that the time is now. Though the journey hasn’t looked how we once imagined, we know with full hearts that this is the way we are meant to grow our family.

We’re excited, hopeful and deeply grateful for every prayer, word of encouragement, and gift that helps bring our child home.

Sincerely,

The Witt’s
